I’ve read something on the internet the other day, and it said something like:
While we are stuck here in this isolation longing to get back to normal, we should allow ourselves to think about what is ‘The Normal’ worth going back to.
And as I go back to work this morning, I was really getting into my philosophical zone about this. Am I going back to ‘The Normal’? I guess it’s not ideal for me, but working totally beats sitting in the house and waiting for my other plans to kick in. Just because we don’t like something doesn’t mean we should rush to get rid of it that quickly. We should consider other people as well. Are we hurting them in any way? Can we help them to gradually adjust to the idea of the change that we wish to implement? If we can, then we should.
It’s OK if you don’t like your job. It’s OK if you’re not happy in a relationship. You just need to be honest with yourself and to others. But, I believe that we shouldn’t rush with our actions (unless the situation can be considered ‘critical’ and really harmful to you on a physical and psychological level – then you should just get it over calmly but quickly -don’t let anything or anyone get under your skin, that’s how they win ).
The world is at your feet. 🙂 Go and claim what you rightfully deserve. And that is a calm, happy and fulfilled life. 🙂 It’s OK if you’re scared. That means that you are actually thinking about something that will change your life – go for it! Take that new job, say hello to that guy/girl you like, make that margarita and drink it at 12PM! You deserve it. 🙂
